The aim of the Bulgarian-Italian center Da Vinci is to develop and deepen the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Italy. We apply an innovative approach in creating an environment that will help representatives from both countries to communicate more effectively, to build mutual trust on the basis of shared cultural values and as a result to establish closer cooperation.
The organization was established as a nonprofit organization based in Burgas. The founders are Bulgarian legal entities and individuals with experience in their field of work, motivated in this decision by the increasing demand for formal representation of business of Italian and Bulgarian companies which enter into bilateral relations.
Objectives of the BIC Da Vinci:
- Support the development of traditional and beneficial for Bulgaria friendship with Italy;
- Create public support for sustainable development of the Bulgarian-Italian relations in the sphere of culture and education;
- Encourage learning of both Italian and other languages related to the World Heritage;
- Create a favourable environment for development of business relations between Bulgaria and Italy, by promoting good business practices;
- Establish network connections between local authorities, research institutes, enterprises and companies to encourage investment in Italian companies in Bulgaria;
- Create conditions for facilitating and accelerating the implementation of business contacts and joint activities between Bulgarian and Italian partners;
- Participate in the development of models and mechanisms to promote the opening of new international air and sea routes to Bulgaria from destinations that would develop the respective area and region as a year-round tourist destination;
- Participate in the development of local, regional and national strategies in the field of culture, education and business innovation;
- Participate in projects and programs for funding from the EU and other donor programs and funds, Bulgarian state funds, programs of foreign governments and other financial institutions;
